OPEN POSITIONS

Crush Athletics is seeking professional, team-oriented, job-seekers to support our aquatic programs at the Parkrose pool. This is a great opportunity to use your aquatic training and leadership skills to help others stay safe and enjoy being in the pool.

Crush Athletics is hiring 1-2 positions, hours may vary.
Pay rate range: $16-$20 Hourly

Lifeguards responsibility include, but are not limited to:

• Provides lifeguard services. Responds to emergencies and, if necessary, administers CPR/First Aid.
• Assists at the front desk as needed.
• Monitors water chemistry.
• Conducts opening and closing procedures, including facility inspections.
• Additional duties will include the daily cleaning and sanitization of equipment and program supplies.

Qualifications:

• Must have current CPR-PR/AED, First-aid certifications, and lifeguard certification. 
• Excellent communications skills. 
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and patrons. 
• Must enjoy working with the public. 
• Previous aquatics experience preferred. 
• Background check required

You must be at least 15 years of age and be Lifeguard certified. Hours may vary and are based on program need. Part-time staff may be scheduled up to 25 hours per week.

Crush Athletics is seeking eager and enthusiastic swim instructors to conduct group and private swim lessons in a safe and fun teaching environment. Teaches children of all ages and abilities appropriate skills according to the lesson program. This is a part-time position, variable schedule and hours.  
 

Crush Athletics is hiring for multiple positions, for weekend (possibly 1 weekday) lessons through the winter. Pay rate starts at $16/hr. Will pay more with Lifeguard certification.

Essential Job Functions 

• Conduct group and private swim lessons providing a safe, positive & motivating teaching environment. 
• Instructs members of all ages and abilities appropriate skills according to the swim lesson program. 
• Attends swim instructional staff meetings and training as directed.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance. 
• Setting up and cleaning up of lesson equipment and changeover of pool configuration. 
• May act as an extra guard during swim lessons if necessary. 
• Promotes participation in aquatics department programs.
• Responds to emergencies, injuries and illness as they arise.  

Qualifications 

• Must have current CPR-PR/AED, First-aid certifications, Lifeguard certification a plus. • Excellent communications skills.

• Previous aquatics instructional experience preferred but not necessary.
